What Real Men Want in A Woman

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a crystal ball that tells you what really goes through a man’s mind. I’d like that too but that would just be too easy.

What do men really want in a woman? That is the question

I asked several men what were the qualities they look for in a woman.

And I’m talking about a real men –mature, grounded on a physical, mental, & emotional level. I’ve collected the most common responses, I’ve received when asking men this very question & below I listed 11 qualities they look for in a woman.

1.- Physical Appearance

Men are visual creatures, if they like what they see they will pursue you, but every man is attracted to a different type of woman & has his own personal tastes. The men I talked to in no way suggested a woman has to fit a certain image or have the perfect hourglass shape figure or be ridiculously gorgeous in order to be considered ‘wife material.’ They want a woman that takes care of herself, meaning that she takes care of her appearance, doesn’t let herself go, she dresses well, takes care of her body & has self-esteem. Men want their women to look great.

2. She has sense of humor

They do not want to be with a woman that is too dry, boring & stiff. They want someone who they can be themselves, be playful & joke around with. Being with someone with a sense of humor makes the time you spend with them enjoyable & laughing together never gets old. Men want a woman that laughs at his jokes & likes to joke around as well.

2. She has her own life

Men are attracted to women that have their own interests, their own life & friends. Men do not want to be with a woman that feels like her life revolves around him & wants to be with him all the time & doesn’t give him room to breathe. Any woman that tries to take away his freedom will certainly not be the type of woman he will want to be with. Neediness is a huge men repellent. Real men want a woman who inspires them because she has wonderful things going on her own life. They want a woman who has her own purpose other than being in a relationship.

2. She loves SEX

Men want a “lady on the street but a freak in the sheets” This is true. Having sex only in the bedroom & doing the same routine gets old. Men want an ideal sex partner who is willing to do & try new things & be extremely vocal. Men appreciate women that tell them what they want in bed. That’s enough to get any man excited if he knows he has a woman who truly enjoys sex & sex with him! Knowing your way around the bedroom is key to having the best love life possible.

5. She is ambitious

Men want to feel like the winners of the world, therefore they want a woman that is ambitious that has her own goals, they want a mature woman to take on the world with. A partner in crime, a teammate in the relationship, & in life.

A woman who knows what she wants & achieves with her own bare hands is very attractive to men.

6.- She speaks her mind

You can’t expect men to know what you want or know exactly what you are thinking. Men want basic & simple communication. If you communicate to a man with straight forward communication, then you will find that you will get what you want faster than beating around the bush. Men don’t like games, especially when it comes to communication. A man likes it when a woman directly tells him what she wants & how he can best deliver it. His goal is to make her happy & when he has the information on how to accomplish that, he feels more confident that he can do it.

7.- A happy woman

All men ultimately want a woman that makes him feel good, they gravitate towards what makes them feel that way & run away from negative energy. Nobody likes negative people when it comes to dating. Men want to spend time with someone who is fun & exciting to be around with. Therefore, vibe is so important. When your vibe is good, it feels good to be around you. When your vibe is negative, it doesn’t.

8. Her mindset

Someone’s looks are what initially draws men to women, but it is impossible to build a real connection or lasting relationship with someone on that alone. Being intellectually challenging & having the ability to hold real discussions about meaningful topics is what will keep a man.

9.- She has values

Men are starved for appreciation; a man wants to be able to feel like he’s the man & that the woman in his life thinks he is the greatest. He wants her to respect him for who he is, men are looking for a woman who will treat them well with respect & admiration. A woman who is Thoughtful. Loving. Caring. Trustworthy. Kind. Loyal. A woman who radiates warmth from her heart. That is a woman a man will want to be with.

10. She is confident

A woman who loves herself, regardless of her own flaws, will love a man for all of his. There's something sexy about a confident woman, & it has nothing to do with looks. Confidence is that special something that makes a woman irresistible, because if she believes in herself, she can turn any situation into an opportunity to shine & men love that about a woman.

11. She is a great mother

Men are thinking long term they want to make sure the woman they choose to be with will be a good educator, nurturer & will love his child/ren as she loves her own.

When it comes down to it, men want a loving woman they’re attracted to, compatible with, & who makes them feel good.

So there you have it 11 things every man wants in a woman.

Needless to say, every man has a different checklist for what he is looking for in the woman, but my instinct tells me that I covered some major requirements on this article.
